So I got Ghost Recon yesterday. This is a tough and yet cool game. Slow stealthy tactical missions. One shot kills n stuff. Getting shot feels like getting shot. It's scary sometimes. The sudden, thud and your dead shock of it all. Played co-op with Dave too. That's also fun. Voice com, so where like "You go here, ahhhh loook out" etc. Smart game. Off to get the Hawskter today. So that should be like candy.

Yes the site has changed. Why you ask? Why not? Yes true, the last one looked good. But I felt like a change. So I changed it. No real new content, just a change of design. The backend was to be changed too, but Moveable Type just didn't wanna play nice and work for me. So I went back to Grey Matter. Luckily I found some mods that let me do some of the things MT would have. The main one being a notify list that works. See the little "Get updates" thing on the side. Enter your email addy there and you'll get an email as soon as I post summin here. So you only get spammed when there's a reason to Neato. Well seeing as its 2:51 am, and that my Limited Edition Cranberry Bacardi Breezer has gone warm, I'm going to get some of that sleep nonsense.

Games next week, Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, Empire Earth, Guilty Gear X, Gundam Battle Assault (Where'd that come from!!), Mega Man 1, Return to Castle Wolfenstein (/breaks down and cries), Shenmue II (screams!!!!!), Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (ahhh). Week after that, Devil May Cry. Lets not forget that Mario Kart and Street Fighter 2 are out too, oh and Headhunter. Excuse me a mo. (...opens window....loudest profanity in the world....ever!) Right. Who do i have to kill to get at least some of these games? I don't wanna be greedy, mainly cos I'd never be able to pay full attention to these little gems. But I gotta get some. Loads of peeps recommend, no command me to buy RTCW. I have £11 of vouchers for Game so that ain't too bad. Capcom vs SNK2 and Guilty Gear X, well they could be completely class! I mean, PS2 (which Dave likes) classic 2D beat em the fuck up. Could be good. SSX Tricky? Meant to be love or hate. Pass. Empire Earth. Meant to be AOE2 beater, well not beater, killer? Its meant to squash AOE. Gundam Battle Assault, never heard of it, but its Gundam! Mega Man 1, sweeet classic Nintendo gaming on GBA. THPS3. Nuff said. Shenmue II. Again nuff said, but saying that I ain't finished Shenmue 1, so that can wait. Maybe. It could dissapear from the stores all together Devil May Cry. OMFG does that look slick. Yes it might have borders, but so did Onimushy and that was fun. But too short.

Ok so which to get. RTCW is one. Well there's my money gone Damn why did Xmass have to come about. Can't I just buy peeps happiness? When I say happiniess I mean, I buy myself some games, and they see me happy which makes them happy? Do you think that'd work?

Clever huh. D(IE) DIE IE Die Internet Explorer While IE6 is all spiffy and nice, there have been a bunch of things to cause its downfall in my world. Take IE6, add Freeserve, sprinkle with transparent proxy, bake for 5 mins and you get broken web pages. Tis very wierd. I usually end up with a page minus the CSS, with bits of the actual CSS displayed at the top. Its like the first few lines of HTML are missing, so the browser just dumps them to the screen cos it doesn't know its CSS. Now you can imagine how bad this can be on some pages. Even stranger is when I view the source and find all the code is there! Freakin freaky. So....i switched to Opera 6 Beta. Opera i hear you cry. Yes indeed. I've toyed with it before, mainly due to curiosity, but i've switched to it now. Is it better than IE6? Well no. I miss IE6, some parts. But it's either IE6 and broken pages, or a slight change. Why not Netscape 6 you say. Well I have to download it, and previous years of experience with the Nutscrape family has left me scared and abused. So i'll be surfin with Opera now.

I've been reorginising my MP3's ID3 tags so they work right. No more various, or various artists. Everything is nearly neat. And an intresting thing popped up.

As some of you may know, I like Dragonball Z. Why? Well cos it has kick ass action sequences. One of the coolest things i've been finding on the net is amateur music videos based on DBZ. They're pretty cool, when done right. And just now I found a site with some, and they had a links page. So I went from there to another site and another site and another site, each with vids on it. God i'm in heaven. I've got 18 so far. Each one is about 30mb. Thats like over 500mb to download. Should be worth it tho

Oh yeah, i love my LAN. The main purpose is to share the Freeserve connection with my Dad, but it nicely doubles as a gaming LAN. Dave is now hooked on Q3Pong, even though he hates Q3. I really enjoy it cos its Q3, but with a twist sooo mad it could be seen as warped. We've also played some DBZ which is cool, but my view is a wee bit squiffed. We've also dabbled with CS, which isn't too bad. But a bit slow. I'm used to Q3 speeds of gaming. Next on the card's is some Wormage and AvP. Maybe some Return To Castle Wolfy too. I'm lookin forward to the release of Star Trek Armarda II. That should be loads of fun.

I want this car. Its a VW Jim, but not as we know it. It's got 400bph! ! ! !!! ! ! ! Ack! 400!! Plus its as sexy as Angelina Jolie wearing nuffin but socks. Now that's pretty damn sexy.

So what's new you might ask? Well...hehe. I've been tinkering with some digital video stuff, and the finished product is, well shall we say damn sweet. Don't ya just love it when you do something really cool. Oh yeah baby work that vcr! In other news, I got the latest issue of OPS2 Mag, with demos of Airblade, Baldurs Gate, WipEout Fusion, WWF Smackdown, and some other stuff that I forgot. WipEout is....well WipEout. In fact it feels just like WipEout 1. Even looks like a hi-res version. The ship detail is nice, but that's it. WWF game is booooring. It's like, attempt to move. Attempt to hit. Knock out ref. Blah blah. Airblade is nice to look at, and probably takes a while to get used to. I don't like the missions you have todo. I wish it was more like THPS. Speaking of which, it was put back to the 23rd Why? It's been out in the US of Hay for ages. Frickin fricks! Baldurs Gate is quite nice. A game I could get into me thinks. But I'd probably get the PC version for obvious reasons There's a cool Devil May Cry vid on the disk, which makes me really want the game. Oh and Ian stopped by. Nooo not that Ian the other one. No no, not that Ian, the other other Ian. The one Ian 1 & 2 don't know, but Dave does Oooh and lastly, I love the new modem Clan Arena server with Barrysworld. It's ace. Peeps with pings like me, and peeps who I can beat Yeah! Woo haa woo haa!

Man how I love to Quake these days. Its soo cool. For some reason my ping is now between 110 and 200 usually. Seems to settle round the 150 mark when playin. But as far as i've seen, on the modem only ca server, I have the lowest ping! GRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNN. It's ace. While not as ace as say Dav's 4mbit cable, its damn cool for a modem. And I win too I actually beat people. I'm hooked again. Loosing really does take it's toll on ya, but when you are able to beat some people, you know your getting better. Ahhh happy days.

Oooooh ahhhhh etc. They actually had a decent display on El Mersey. Nice n big. I filmed most of it, while getting frozen n wet. It was rainin, not cos I was in the Mersey or nuffin. But it was nice. All purdy n stuff. Hopefully I'll post some l33t captures, when the cam has gotten over the cold it caught.

I got rid of my IQ number on the site. Why? Well all it really means is that you can do maths, notice some patterns in the alphybet, etc. It doesn't show anything of real value, like who someone really is. It just shows some number.

The new PS2 version Tony Hawk should be out on Friday. Now should I take GTA3 back on Monday and then get THPS3 on Friday? I'm tempted to since that is the only way I can afford it. GTA3 is great, but seeing how I'm on the 3rd Island now, and have flown a plane a bit and done practically everything the game has to offer, I'd probably get bored of it by next week. In other news I ordered ISDN for low Q3 pings. But after discussin it with TBL I realised that it'd cost a fortune to go from ISDN down to Analogue then back upto ADSL, cos thats how its done. Bit of a git really. I'm stuck with crap pings for god knows how long. Not that ADSL is a great thing mind, with BT's Not So Openworld scheme. But hey, its gotta be better than 56k....right?

Ooops, kinda got banned from ICQ for a bit due to some rate limit being exceeded. Word is that I should be allowed back on in a bit.
