Gah, I had a reason to right in here today. Can't remember wot tho. Hmmmmmmm. I got a new light switch. Played some Q3. Found that Serious Sammy 2 is out. Have to find some way to get that game. Tinkered with a web site. Still can't find the right design for it. Only got till Thursday. Gah. OOooh yer I remember now. Everyone must get "Resist" by Kosheen. Its bloody awesome. Some of the best music I heard in a while. Recommended tracks are, Catch, Hide You, Gone, Hungry, Face In A Crowd (top notch). Well I'm tired.

So then viewers, time for another wots wot with peekychu. Right well I'm still applying for jobs. I feel like my life is on pause really. In between uni stage, and the next phase of my life. Just in a limbo. *sigh* Anyways onto the fun stuff. I got a copy of Final Fantasy for free thanx to Game Station's PC game trade in. Nice of em. Its a shame that FF wasn't 100% real looking. Its like 90% or so. Very close and very impressive, but you can tell its not real. Its in the face really. I guess if theres a Final Fantasy 2 then that will be probably 95% and FF3 would be 97% and FF4 maybe 100%? I wouldn't be suprised if FF2 was 100%, but I think that it might be an ickle while before real cgi people are made. So what else then. I installed Redhat 7.1 on erm.....Monday I think. Tis quite nice. Bit difficult to get to grips with since you have todo everything, I mean *everything* yourself. But I'm cool with dat. I spent most of this week downloading RH7.2 to update over 7.1. I hope It'll probably just go splat and totally screw up everything, including the dishwasher. They are prone to linux problems you know. So hopefully everything will go ok tomorrow and I'll be runnin RH7.2 We'll see. I'm also trying to download Sim Golf. Yes I know its a few months old, but what the hey. The only problem is the server doesn't support resuming. Well, it has once or twice but generally it doesn't. So I keep loosing the file and have to start again. Pffft! Well its got 50mins left, so that'll be about 2am or so before its done. I don't wanna stay up just for that. I suppose I could set the machine to shutdown by itself. Yeah like that option works everytime you use it. Well it could....In other news I haven't played Q3 since about Monday. Havin trouble gettin it to work in Linux. Hopefully the upgrade will sort that. Some opengl problem. 47mins on the download... A drink and then me's hittin the hay. Then I'll get another drink and goto bed. (Gah was that a joke? Yes it was. A bad one, probably just as bad as this attempt at humour too)

Oh passing thought for ya. What if someone does something annoying. You probably bit yer lip and ride it out. Ok, but then they keep doing said annoying thing. Like tap there foot on the floor, making some teeny weeny noise that only dogs, cats, hamsters and you pickup on. Right so this annoying sound keeps pounding in your head (as they do). So you tell the person if they could kindly stop said annoyance. They do. For about 5 mins till their brain resets and they forget everything that just happened. So you tell em again. They comply for again 5mins. And again and again. Etc. So the problem is you then become annoying to the person making you annoyed. They tap their foot, you keep telling them to stop tappin their foot. But they can't stop tapping their foot because its some freaky inbuilt habbit that they can't break. Ok now taking that into account, what happens when ur surrounded by various types of similar dumb annoyances? Well, you can't keep telling everyone to just eat split and die can ya? You know those little things that people always do (or don't) Like close the door completely, not 95%. Or not talk when ur watching tv. Surely whatever you have to say can wait a few minutes. Or biting their nails. Or .... Maybe its just being surrounded by people 24/7. You start to notice things more and more. Ok end rant 40mins left on the download. Ack. Probably be 50mins after I've gone to get a drink. Dumb internet. OOh 35mins. 5 mins in 1 min? Nice. Right then, drink, bed, sleep, then wake. Seems like a plan for the next few hours. Lets see then. So it was back then that i updated this here blog thing0r. What have I been upto since den? Well....not a lot really. Well I got a Quiet PC PSU for my PC to make it well quieter...(yeah that was hard to work out). And it is quieter. It does wot it says on the tin. Its quiet, and its a psu. Nuff said. I'm currently in a "I want to install Lin-ucks (linux)" frame of mind. Guess wot that means tho. I have to download 1.2gb roughly. 1.2gb! 2days constant downloading. Which ain't going to happen tho. So it's like Wednesday before I get it. I got Red Hat 7.1, but I heard 7.2 is better. So I'm going to download it. Summin to look forward to. So sunday then. Well I went to a meeting about a site I made. Tis good to get out Played some Q3 (as usual) Oh I went to see The Rat Race. That is one damn damn funny film. An ickle slo of the starting mat, but really picks up pace and practically drains all the oxygen outa ur lungs. Oh it also scares u away from women. Well women with a pilots license anyways. Good film tho. Really puts u in a good mood. And yes I am listening to Smash Mouth

Well tis about all me thinks. Ack early start again. I gotta goto the Dr.'s for an 8:40am appointment! Come on, I don't get up till 11am at least! FFS. Weeell hopefully he can recomend me some good migrane medicine And maybe tell me that I can drink Coke again I haven't had a glass in a week! We got loads of cans sittin in the garage just waiting for me :0

I was an ickle bit bored

Haven't been around for a few days, been playing with my ISDN connection a lot. Its just great. Pings of 40-60, with 50 on average. Perfectly playable online with Q3. I downloaded Rocket Areana 3 (RA3) which is basically CA but in 1v1 form. A very cool mod. Cos you just pit ur skills against 1 other guy, so there's no silly spawn kills or "Oh i couldn't get a weapon" thing. Its just skills. Which is cool, cos its good to train on. Which I noticed recently cos Kat has really gotten very good from playin this. Anyway, I got a new hard drive. A 60gb Maxtor job. Now I got 80gb of space. Nice. After a repartition I've just got 35gb of unpartitioned space lyin around. Gotta find some use for that. Going to install some version of linux when I choose which one to download. Saturday was fun. I got a migrane from eating a mini crunchy! Of all things! I guess it was a build up of chocolate and coke over the weeks. This meant that my new drive arrived and I couldn't do anything with it So I basically lay in bed while someone pressed on my eye for the day, then puked a little and went to sleep. Sunday I spent in bed cos I was dizzy still. Monday, today right? Well didn't really do much either. Well I ordered a Quiet PC PSU so I can hopefully make my PC quieter.

In case you haven't heard from some other place, Kodak (or Kodkak as they are now to be refered to) had a nice deal going for a digital 3.1mp cam for £100 on their site. A few, as in 1000's, ordered one. Most got replys a few days later saying, oops our bad u ain't gettin one. And now lawyers, kodkak, the peeps at OcUK and other places are taking up arms and gunning for kodkak. WE WANT OUR CAMERAS! Fuppin grassholes.

God I am soo bored. A few things have happend over the past few days, like on or two, but they're not exactly post worthy. After 6 months of free time I've finally ran out of things todo. So my day basically consists of gettin up at 12pm, check some sites and post an msg or two. Then sit round thinking of summin todo. Then chat on irc, play some Quake (or get beaten at Quake) as it is. There's nuffin on TV, or the cinema. Ran outa games to play. Not got any sites to build I'm finally bored. Which means that I think. When I think I get depressed cos I usually think about the bad things. To top things off I had a very realistic dream which upon waking up took me a while to realise that it was a dream and not real. Which left me feeling even more depressed The only thing I go to look forward to is getting ISDN installed. Wow. At 23 you'd think I'd have more to look forward too Well I'm going snowboarding in a couple of weeks, so that should be erm intresting And I'm entering a friendly web design compo which should give me summin todo. Well it looks like theres a funny film coming out next week, but thats a week away It'd be nice to have summin fun todo at the mo till then. Thats the thing, when your blue its very hard to get outa it. I find that going through all my music bit by bit helps. Forcing me to feel happy And then not thinking too.
