Updates

I've upgraded the site to MT 3.14. After using it on petemc.net the new version of MTBlacklist warrents the upgrade. I had no idea of the new features, and they are very much welcomed. Annoyingly though. I still need to sort out .htaccess to stop certain spam sites from even seeing my site. I'm really getting pissed off from seeing "100 visits" and finding out that 85% are spam sites. IP Deny via cpanel doesn't seem to be doing the trick. This design has been up for about a year now too. I have other things to do first, but expect a new one before March.

Sell Out

Well there we go. After hearing about what others have been making of Google Adsense I've decided to sell my soul. Currently my site is getting around 200,000 hits a month and 14,000 unique visitors a month. I reckon I should easily be able to pay for the hosting of this site. I've put ads on the blog pages down the side, you won't really see them unless you scroll down. On the gallery pages I've put it on top of all the thumbnails and below the images. So there we go. Lets see what happens. Sleepness nights anyone? :D

Mozilla Flaws

According to El Reg, theres a few flaws in Mozilla / Firefox / Thunderbird that can cause people a few issues. No word on a patch yet, but it should be soon.

Pic of the day

I entered my Applied Energy shot to a few Pic of the Day type sites and actually won! You can see it at benel.com. I've never really submitted any of my shots anywhere, but I think this is the year that I will get into the odd magazine, I hope :)
