Ok so I'm gunna get loads of hits from just sayin Linkin Park - Reanimation :D Their latest album is pretty damn cool. Basically a remix of their first album, it breathes new life into classic songs.

Found the wallpaper on MTV site. Just nicked the background from one of their pages. Works quite well. But it's been there for nearly 2 weeks, time for a change.

Right then. So weekly update as it now seems. Ok. Monday...Went to London for an interview with a Digital Video company who wanted a web developer. Nice company in East Putney. I had a really nice day. Best part was just chillin in Starbucks with a Caramel Frappachino. God those things are nice. I sooo wish there was a place like that round here. Tis luverly outside but theres nuffin todo. Anyways. Tuesday. Suddenly realised it's been a year since I got my Sony Z5. Chaching :D New phone time. While I was in London i went into Phones4u and found that they had a nice deal. Siemens MT50, monthly contract, no connex fee, no phone charge. So on Tusesday went to Phones4u with me Dad, he signed up n stuff. Popped me Virgin sim into it and woo. New phone :D For free too :D Oh and they gave me Dad £30 as part of the summer deal. So woo :) Got a car charger for my old Z5 and gave that phone to me Mum.

Reasons why I wanted this phone. Its brand new, so no-ones gunna have it yet. It has GPRS (not that T-Mobile does tho), Java downloadable games n things. Add new ringtones is a piece of cake, just put them on my website and download them via wap, same with logos and screensavers. You can design your own cover too. So theres a lot more customization than the Z5. Plus I was getting a bit tired of constantly flipping the cover open to do the simplest of things. So at the mo I got Neon Genesis Evangellion ringtone (click that to hear it) on the phone. Its a very cool ringtone, if you know the theme tune. One of the best I've heard. Another cool feature is the pics that come with it. It has a whole bunch of smilies for different moods. So like when the screensaver auto locks the keys it shows a cool smiley face. But its got things like, scared, happy, confused, etc.

So Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Um...Watched final big bro.....yey? Tried todo my taxes, but they sending me a pin so i can use the net form.

Saturday. Dave's birthday bash. Met up with his m8 from uni, Renegade :) Had a meal and a laugh at Frankie & Bennys. And saw Austin Powers 3 - Goldmember. Not as funny as the past 2, but when it was funny it really did kill u. So on the whole (*wink*) a good film worth seeing.

Hopfully tomorra I'll be tweaking the site a bit. Thunderstorms predicted for tomorra too :D

Fatboy Slim live from Brighton Beach II was on Saturday. It was pretty good, but not as good as last yr. I taped it all to vhs, and I was taping it to .wav too. But half way thru I put Roger Wilco on to listen to the guys chat n stuff. But...RW changed recording from line in to mic. So I didn't tape last 20mins. I cleverly noticed tho just as Fatboy Slim put the last track on, All Saints - Pure Shores with a nice back beat. He did play some top tunes.

I also put the first coat of paint on the veranda yesterday. Did the 2nd today. Wot fun.

Currently watching Big Train reruns on PlayUK. Never seen the show before, but its damn funny sometimes.

I've installed classic Quake 1 too. For shits n giggles. Oh Imperium Galactica 3 demo soooo rocks. Tis very cool, and you have to be really strategic about playing.

About 3 weeks ago I went to Halifax for a job interview. It was with a small company that made pretty cool websites. They were looking for a junior asp developed (aka me). A few days after the interview it came down to 3 peeps. So they gave us a test todo. Pretty straight forward do summin in ASP test. So then it was still tough, so they got me back for another interview, which I went to on Tuesday. The tech guy was ill, so I just impressed the creative guy. Yesterday I got the call, I didn't get the job. Only because I would have to move and they felt that I wouldn't enjoy the position as much as I should, which would affect my work performance. Quite understandable tbh, as it probably would have done.

Got a few new items of clothing, new Nikes and a nice new coat. I'll get some pics and up em tomorra...maybe :)

So this weeks then...

1. Where are you right now? Sitting in my room, at my PC.

2. What have you lost recently? Weight

3. What was the first CD you ever purchased? Not really sure, but it might have been Now 35. Kinda a special CD for me, cos I got it with money won from a quiz league competition. I was in it, but never answered any questions in practice sessions. General knowledge?? Anyways, it came to the big night. We got thru to the finals! Then by some amazing luck a quick fire round on computers!! OMFG! No-one else there had a clue, which meant that I won the whole game. End score 33-8. So yey me. TBH i don't fink i got the recognition I shoulda at school. It was like "Oh we won the quiz" not "Oh Pete was amazing and we couldn't have done it without him". No matter. Anyways, Now 35. I got it with the money from that. Classic tunes.

4. What is your favorite kind of writing pen? Pens? Whatever I find in my pen box.

5. What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Ben & Jerry's overly complex Chocolate thing. But I can't have chocolate cos of migranes. No chocolate for 7months now! Its very hard some days. See a Twix or a Mars and you just want it. Or those new M&M's! M&M's are my fave sweet. God I miss them.

If your blind, how are you reading this? If not then you should be able to see the new design. Spiffy eh :) Oh its not tables.... \o/. New backend system to called Moveable Type. Got a whole bunch of awesome features that make Grey Matter look like a 1999 content management system. For example, XML-RPC, XHTML + CSS, they's probably the main two.

Oh and no i'm not dead or nuffin. Just didn't really feel in the mood to update the site. And no, I haven't been sitting at my PC for the past 3 weeks. There are a few things to tell, which I'll do tomorra, maybe.
