Frontpage 2003 is still bad. Look at that advert. They start the 3rd paragraph with a close paragraph tag! Brilliant ad. "Frontpage 2003 does cleaner code, but its still invalid code".

So the anticipated Firebird 0.8 has come out as Firefox 0.8. At first I was shocked, but I think the name is growing on me. Its a shame tho, they have really built up the Firebird identity, they have to start again now. You can download it from my site or the official site.

Firefox is the browser's third name. The last name, Firebird, drew strong objections from the Firebird database community when it was announced in April. The database community's supporters and commercial backers waged a high-profile campaign against mozilla.org and affiliated parties until mozilla.org announced that Firebird would only be used as a codename. The new Firefox moniker is intended to be used as a permanent product name and a strong brand identity will be built around it. The new name was chosen after extensive international trademark searches and consultations with lawyers. The process of registering Firefox as a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office began in December last year.

So someone seems a little irked by weblogs.

I suppose he has a point, there are thousands of weblogs about little people. There are people who have them because they're trendy too. Why do I have mine? Cos its trendy, maybe. But I've had mine since 2000, so its not like I started mine cos they're popular. I was simply inspired by /usr/bin/girl. I was trying to decide what to do with my website back then, so a blog seemed cool. Now, its still just a place for me to talk to myself without seeming insane. I also publish pics and use it as a great tool to inform peeps about things :)

So I watched the Superbowl again this year. I have no idea who was who, but it was a good game, slow start, but good. It was 2 years ago I last saw it, but that was a good game too. Some of the moves to score were very cool to watch. Especially at Half Time ;) Some half decent MTV peeps dancing around, and then Janet Jackson's duet with Justin Timberlake.
